About The Course

An advanced program for the experienced implant dentist featuring lectures by nine of the top experts in the field. 

The symposium will focus on the latest in bone generation technology, bone graft products and growth factors and the scientific indications for their use.

At the end of this symposium, the participants will understand:

  • How osteoconductivity, osteoinductivity, and osteogenesis differ
  • The appropriate biology and indications for and dosage of Recombinant Human Bone Morphogenetic Protein
  • The appropriate biology of enamel matrix derivative (e.g., Emdogain®) and platelet derived growth factors (e.g., GEM 21S®)
  • The role of scaffolding and tenting devices
  • The latest about resorbable and nonresorbable membranes
  • The current thinking about alloplast, xenograft, and synthetic grafts (e.g., ceramics) and their different modalities
