Live clinical surgery for single tooth implant placement of a previously fractured hopeless tooth. The surgery will demonstrate placement of an implant into a grafted and healed site. The surgery will also demonstrate the latest in osseodensification techniques as well as the utilization of a guide using osseodensification burs and immediate provisionalization.

Learning Objectives:  At completion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Review the treatment criteria of a fractured/non restorable tooth with immediate or a delayed implant placement
  2. Understand socket preservation and osseodensification techniques utilized with this case with techniques using rotary instrumentation
  3. Relate surgical site optimization and osseodensification principles with implant placement
  4. Create a decision tree for management of a fractured tooth as well as immediate vs delayed implant placement
