This course is designed for doctors with limited to intermediate experience in dental implant surgery. This hands-on course will use a variety of models to practice socket grafting, ridge preservation techniques, suturing, and implant placement and temporization. Immediate vs. delayed implant placement will be reviewed. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to review prosthetic choices, temporization, and perform impression techniques. This course will be taught in an interdiciplinary style by an oral surgeon and a prothodontics

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to: 

  1. Perform implant site development techniques including socket graft, ridge preservation and suturing
  2. Place implant fixtures and temporizations
  3. Perform impression techniques
