AAID Hosts 58th Annual Meeting, Nov. 11-15, in New Orleans
More than 1,600 dentists, allied staff and exhibitors are expected to attend attended the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) annual scientific conference, Nov. 11-15, in New Orleans. The event is highly regarded in the dental profession as an innovative and valuable opportunity for continuing education, product demonstrations and networking.
The theme for the AAID meeting, held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel, is “New Opportunities in Implant Dentistry.” The scientific program will showcase an international cast of speakers and offer comprehensive continuing education credit.
Dental implant growth in the US has been exceptional in recent years due to technology advances and increasing public awareness that implant procedures are more than 97 percent successful and are the preferred method for replacing lost teeth. An estimated 2 in 3 Americans have at least one missing tooth.
