Membership Types
Available to anyone interested in implant dentistry, both foreign and domestic. Our general members are general dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, endodontists, technicians, and others interested in the field of implant dentistry. Recent Graduate and Military rates are also available.
Affiliate Associate Fellow Membership is open to anyone who has passed Part 1 of the Associate Fellowship examination, regardless of when they took it. Although not a credential and not a voting category, this category gives appropriate recognition for the accomplishments made by eligible members.
Open to students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate dental program. Recent Graduate and Military rates are also available. See the general membership page for more information. Email membership@aaid.com for more information.
The AAID has two categories of membership for licensed dentists who have met the experiential and education requirements and passed the examination for the respective category:
- Fellows have met the educational, experiential, and professional and leadership credential requirements specified in Requirements for Fellow Membership and have passed the examination for this membership category.
