Event Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) govern your registration for and participation in the AAID’s meetings and events (the “Event”) and are an agreement between the American Academy of Implant Dentistry ("AAID," "we," "us," or "our") and you. You represent to us that you are authorized to enter into these Terms.

EVENT
You may only register for and attend the Event in accordance with these Terms. To register for the Event, you must complete the Event registration process. Sharing your registration with another person(s) is a violation of the Code of Conduct and may result in your access to the event being terminated.

AGE LIMITATION
Attendees must be 18 years of age on the first day of the Event to attend this event and all related events, unless specifically allowed for a ticketed event (i.e. President’s Reception). Children under the age of 18 are not allowed on the exhibit floor at any time.

PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING
At this event, photographs and/or video of you may be taken by the AAID or its employees, members or vendors. By registering for this event, you agree to relinquish any reasonable expectation of privacy or compensation for use of your image and understand that the use of your image does not violate any right of privacy, publicity, law, regulation or agreement. You grant permission to the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and its Districts, to use, or authorize others to use, any photograph, motion picture, image, recording, or any other record of your participation in activities during the event in whole or in part, throughout the universe, in perpetuity, in all media and means, now known or hereafter developed or discovered, for commercial purposes or any other legitimate purpose whatsoever.

CONTENT
You acknowledge and agree that the AAID, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the event, including but not limited to, the event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.  Some event content may be recorded by the AAID and will be accessible to paid participants, if applicable. 

VIEWS
The views expressed by any event attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of the AAID. All event attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.

DISCLAIMER
If applicable, for virtual attendees, the AAID will provide you online access to and use of the on-line content via the Internet by use of an attendee-provided browser. You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining at your own expense, all equipment needed to access the Event, including but not limited to Internet access and adequate bandwidth.

USE OF OR CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTIES TO CIRCUMVENT SECURITY PRECAUTIONS AND ILLEGALLY GAIN ACCESS TO THE EVENT AND CUSTOMER DATA.  ACCORDINGLY, THE AAID CANNOT AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PRIVACY, SECURITY OR AUTHENTICITY OF ANY INFORMATION TRANSMITTED OVER OR STORED IN ANY SYSTEM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET.

ACCESSIBILITY
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, if you have a disability, please provide us with your needs in terms of equipment, services or other accommodations so that you may fully participate in the conference.

THIRD PARTY FULFILLMENT
By registering for the Event, you agree that the AAID and designated vendors may use your personal data for the purpose of fulfilling your registration and housing requests.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please refer to the Cancellation Policy as noted on the Event website or on the registration website.

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry reserves the right to cancel all or part of any Event should circumstances warrant such action. In the event of full cancellation, the Academy will refund the full registration fee and not be responsible for any other damages. The Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time by the AAID and the terms are non-negotiable.
