Additional Information

The AAID offers prorated dues for members joining April 1 with the membership cycle running from January 1 to December 31. Prorated amounts are available for certain member types, often allowing new members to pay an adjusted rate for the remainder of the current year.  After October 1 members joining can pay an adjusted amount for the rest of the year alongside dues for the following year.
A current AAID member who is unable to practice dentistry due to an injury or illness or has experienced an office catastrophe that interrupts the practice (e.g., damage from a hurricane, tornado, or fire) is eligible for a dues waiver. Those who wish to apply for a dues waiver must complete this application. All dues waiver requests are treated confidentially.

Effective October 1, 2025, for the 2026 membership renewal cycle, American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) is pleased to announce the reinstatement of a special reduced membership rate for general members residing in select lower-middle-income countries. Eligible general members can renew their membership for $195 USD.

Eligibility is based on the FDI World Dental Federation (World Dental Congress) list of Low and Lower-Middle-Income Countries.

This initiative reflects AAID’s continued commitment to supporting the global implant dentistry community and promoting access to education, resources, and professional connection regardless of economic barriers.

To verify eligibility or receive the special rate, please contact membership@aaid.com.
